AHFCA For Sale/Trade Rules & Regs - VGC attendees

Post by Sporrns »

For those of you attending the Vintage Gunners Cup at Hausmann's next week, PLEASE READ!

Below are the rules and regulations governing the AHFCA For Sale/Trade rack at the AHFCA booth during the VGC Shoot, 19-21 SEP at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow>

1) The AHFCA is not responsible for any loss or damage to your firearms or ephemera. Thus: DISPLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Although our booth is manned the majority of the time, the AHFCA does not guarantee security while you are away from the tables. Guns and other items MUST be tagged with price, member's name and contact information while at the VGC event (cell phone number, where you will be, e.g., "out shooting", "off grounds", etc.).

2) AHFCA MEMBERS ONLY - To display items on the "For Sale" rack/table you MUST be an active, paid-to-date Annual or Life Member as shown in our membership roles. Registered BBS users are not official AHFCA members. Membership applications will be accepted during the event.

3) TABLE ITEMS ARE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Preference is shown to A.H. Fox shotguns and related memorabilia and parts. Examples are catalogs, sales brochures, calendars, Fox letterhead letters, Fox toy guns, small quantities of Fox parts, etc. Members wishing to sell or trade other American makes (Parker, LC Smith, Lefever, Ithaca, etc.) are referred to those respective collector organizations displaying at this event.

4) LIMIT of two (2) items per member: Examples are: 2 Fox shotguns, 1 gun & 1 catalog; 2 catalogs; one baggie of parts & one barrel, buttstock, forearm, etc. If space becomes tight the AHFCA reserves the right to limit the number of items displayed by any member(s). Guns and related items left in the rack or on the table(s) MUST be retrieved at the end of each event day (NLT 5PM). This is to facilitate closing the booth down and 'covering up' for security reasons.

5) The AHFCA expects that all firearms transactions between Members will conform fully to all applicable Federal and State regulations. The AHFCA is providing table space only and will not be involved in any transaction in any way or manner whatsoever.

Questions, issues or problems of an immediate nature at this event may be referred to the Booth Captain (myself) or his onsite designee.

Thank you for taking the time to read and understand this, Kevin McCormack
