Re: Fox fishing reels
made by AH Fox, they do not seem to command much in the way of value.
but i have had one on a shelf for decades just because its a Fox product
a web search found this
"In 1927, when the Godshalks owned the A H Fox Co, they bought out The John Lauterbach Co.,maker of fishing reels and stamped them " A H fox Co""

Re: Fox fishing reels
It seems that far and away the biggest survivor in the Fox reel line is the 250 yd Free Spool, both with the A.H. Fox Gun Co. name or the Fox Co. name on the base.
Some pages from my photocopy of the only catalog
I've seen.
Fox reels seem to be worth a lot more at a gun show than they are on ebay or in vintage tackle shops.

Here is one on ebay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-A-H-Fo ... SwyEdbxVj9
but priced much higher than I'd ever pay.
