28 inch pin gun stock stamp question

i have a pin gun that im refinishing the buttstock on. my question is what does the S in the reciever end wood stand for?

Greg,

Of course, "53561" would be the serial number of your gun and the "S" would be for Sterlingworth.

Do you have any pictures of the rest of the gun you could show us?
