I have also tried to gather information about Mr Becker. I assume you have also read the McIntosh book and the references there. Nash Buckingham frequently mentions him in his books but never says much about the man. The DGJ articles are very informative. It seems that even there the facts about him...

There was a 20 ga xe for sale in a two page colored dispay ad in the autumn DGJ. It was priced at 20,000. The winter volume had another display ad from the same vendor but the xe was missing.

I see you have listed 240 for the Super Fox. Is that your estimate of all that were produced or only those with different style of engraving than the early A type? I did not see an estimate for the number of F grades, would anyone have a guesstimate on those? Thanks

I have a D grade sn 15450 that has pre Gough engraving but was not shipped until Feb 1914. It has an ebony insert.
