Re: What did you add to your Fox collection in 2018?

A nice 20 Ga Skeet & Upland with all the bells and whistles;
26" barrels
straight grip
Single Trigger
Beavertail Fore end
Ejectors,
Just need a butt plate. someone added a 1/2" Pachmayr but didn't cut the wood.

A 16 Ga A grade non ejector gun.

Re: Fox 20 Ga Sterlingworth upgrade project.

Picked my gun up from Dan Rossiter last week. what a job he did. It came out beautiful. I will post photos once I have a chance and decent weather to get some outdoor shots with natural light.

UPDATED Fox 20 Ga Sterlingworth upgrade project.

Fox 20 Ga Sterlingworth upgrade project. It started life as a 20 Ga. Sterlingworth with 28” barrels. Dan Rossiter did all of the metal work, fences, reshaping, etc. the and stock work. I debated straight grip or semi pistol. I went with semi pistol grip. The wood came from Cecil Fredi. Horn butt-pla...

Re: Straight grip question

You can also generally go by the guideline that the straight grip Sterlingworth’s have the short tang guard and the end of the tang is rounded, not pointed like a pistol grip Sterlingworth. Based on my experience (limited compared to some of the guys here) but also based on the 5 or 6 Sterlingworth ...
