Re: Fox A Grade 16 Gauge Input or Info

awilk0810,

Also, it very likely has 2 9/16 inch chambers so be careful shooting current production 2 3/4" ammo out of it.

And as Jeff suggests above, share some more info on the gun. It looks like a very nice one.

Re: Drain hole plugged with solder

In the Sept 10 Morphy catalog lot #1486 is a model 21 DUCK with two barrels. In the description of each barrel is says " Drain hole plugged with solder". That's a new one on me. Forearm? Barrel lumps? Can anyone explain this? Thanks, Bill Bill, I think they be referring to a hole that may...

Those early A style engraving 16's and 20's are not very common. I'm glad you got a nice one Steggy.

Re: Ok to ask about older shotgun shells ?

Hi Paul, Thanks for posting those pictures. Much nicer than what I was anticipating. You have some nice boxes in nice shape. They would look great on shelves in your gun room alongside some nice Fox's, Parker's, Ithaca's and such. And thanks Frank for your very thoughtful Reply. Makes good sense in ...

Re: Hausmann’s Northeast SxS Classic

Bummed that I had to miss this year’s event. Looks like the Fox gun was well represented this year. Any sweet guns come out of the shadows this weekend? We missed you Brett. So sorry to hear the loss of your brother. I think there may have been one or two nice Fox's there. Let's hope for some pictu...

Reminds me, an ex Navy sailor, of going to Hooters after being deployed for 1 (one) day. Those girls sure wore nice outfits.

Re: American Arms Co.

I do remember seeing one or two of those side swinging doubles and were called fox. They sure didn't look that nice.

Thanks for showing us the other one. It sure looks elegant.

And were George H. Fox and Ansley H. Fox related? Probably not.

I can't ever remember seeing one of those George Fox doubles. They look pretty darn nice.

Thanks for showing us Dave.

And if anybody else might have one or two in their gun racks, or good pictures that they would like to share, please do so.
