I'm glad it's getting a nice home and owner. And good to hear it shoots OK!

Re: Fox 126 A
Wow! What a nice family heirloom. By all means, take it out into the woods and relive the hunts of your great, great, grandfather. Maybe someday you’ll find a picture of him with it. That would be really cool. Garret, Absolutely, just what Jeff says above, a great family heirloom that looks exactly...

Re: Fox 126 A
A very nice, very early A grade 12 gauge. What is the barrel length? Some more close up pictures of the receiver, both sides and bottom, would be nice. And the stock and butt plate. And wonderful if it was your great grandfather's gun and if he purchased it new, that would have been around 1905 or '...

Re: Fox Sterlingworth 12 ga
For a quick and easy method to determine if your 12 gauge Sterlingworth is Full choke is using a good old US dime which has a diameter of about 0.703 inches. That dime will not go all the way in a 12 gauge Full choke. It will go all the way in a Modified, or more open choke. This very easy method ma...

Yeah, as Brushbuster/Dennis and Foxnut/Brett pointed out - that B bird was the toughie. And did I recall those A, B and C birds being called something like: A = Awful B = a Bi - ch and C = a Cupcake. Very nice visiting with you guys. Always a great event despite the weather. Looking forward to Iron ...

Re: Long legs arrived 16 Gauge 30"
Bill, thanks for the reminder and update on Byron. I do remember he told me that he previously worked at Creekside. As far as I know Randy still deals a bit with collectible guns but is not affiliated with his former shop which retained the business name and moved closer to Newville. frank Yep, Byr...

Re: Long legs arrived 16 Gauge 30"
Back in the late 1980s I gained admission to Randy's safe to measure the dimensions of a 20-gauge Super-Fox frame for McIntosh. Don't think I've ever been anywhere else with as many Parker and graded L.C. Smith .410-bores. I too had the pleasure and privilege to get admission to Randy's walk in vau...

Maybe a 12 gauge Sterlingworth with a 20 gauge shell dropped in and stopped at the forcing cone?

Pictures of a very Uncommon Fox
Pictures below of a Fox. Not a gun tho. And it's not mine. I just took a couple pictures.
Many of you will know what it is. 1921 vintage if that helps. Correction: it's a 1922 Sport Sedan.
Here tis . . .

Maybe a mechanical link to the SAFETY behind the trigger to operate it from the upper position. For left hand shooters?
