I have a 20 Ga. Savage Fox B in very good to excellent condition.
There is, however, a small crack (less than 1/2 in.) in the front of the forearm.
The finish is in really nice shape.
Any suggestions on what to do?

Just curious.

I saw a Fox B "new-in-the-box" for sale yesterday.
Is that possible after all these years? Or, too good to be true?

Hmmm.... can't find an oval with a letter or number in it.
There are numbers and letters visible when I break the gun apart, but none inside an oval.
Would the serial number help?
It starts with the letter B.
