Re: Barrel roll stamps
Mr. Hossford is quite talented and a heck of a nice guy! Had the pleasure to shoot w/him at the Hossford Cup SxS Shoot back in August. He is a whiz!

Re: 2024 Vintage Cup
I was never fortunate to attend the Vintager’s Cup. I guess, work, travel distance and laziness played into that. However, I’m with Tom on change of venues, date change, etc. makes for an easy decision now. October is for hunting be it archery, grouse, woodcock, waterfowl, or whatever. I am a member...

For all of those fortunate to open up on Doves yesterday or today post some pics so the rest of us can live vicariously through ya’ll! One of the things I miss about leaving the South was the fun and celebration of dove hunts!

Re: Hunting Season(s) Approaching - What gun(s) will go with you for opening day?
In the past my go to gun was my CE 20 Ga. But after losing all sight in my right eye and still trying to learn to shoot left handed I may use my 12 SW or my Parker DHE 12. Although I will probably regret it I may have to part ways with the 20 CE. :( Jerry Jerry, Glad to see you posting and continui...

Great thread! Besides the mutual admiration for Fox guns one of the fun things about this board is the opportunity we have to learn about other parts of the country, other hunting that we may not do and other traditions!!

I have not pre-ordered/pre-payed for the IR 3 yet. At this point glad I didn’t. I am hopeful that the Cotes get through the loss of their son and other issues. I wish them well!

Re: Hunting Season(s) Approaching - What gun(s) will go with you for opening day?
As I write this the opening day of our dove season is 32 days, 6 hrs., 4 minutes and 8 seconds away. I won't be opening it with a Fox, only because Fox never made a .410. It is tradition for me now to begin each dove season with a .410, then work my way up in bore sizes through the end of the seaso...

Re: Nice little Michigan Grouse Gun
Jeff, Looks like a dandy little grouse gun! I think you will like it for the grouse woods! Rosey and I would be pleased to have you join us for an early October hunt this year. As for a “stroll” I don’t equate grouse/woodcock hunting and strolling together. I usually equate it with tripping, falling...

Hunting Season(s) Approaching - What gun(s) will go with you for opening day?
The MI grouse season opens up September 15th….just 40 days out. I started thinking about what gun will go with me on my first hunts….For me it will be my A Grade 16 2 barrel set. It’s the gun I finished last year’s season with as well. I might also pack a 20 gauge Parker GHE 26” stratight grip gun w...
