I must admit, I clicked on this post fully expecting to see an HE grade Fox, Lab, and a King Eider off the coast of Alaska. But I must agree, A Pat'ridge is king of the uplands. Thanks for the photos.

Re: Bo Whoop found and for sale at Julia's
The laced on pad could lend credit to the broken stock on the gun at Julia's. Maybe, just maybe Bo-Whoop was restocked while in nashes possession? Why would Nash have a laced on pad, as in the photo, on a gun that already has a pad? Intriguing, and I for one am Intrigued.

Re: Bo Whoop found and for sale at Julia's
Waterman, You ask a good question. Wouldn't it be nice if the broken stock matched the stock in the excepted pictures of Bo-whoop. We would have very few questions as to it's authenticity. It's never that easy is it. So how does this stock, which is not Bo-whoops, end up with the gun? Anyone ever he...

Re: Bo Whoop found and for sale at Julia's
The markings on the barrels look rather amateur to me. They are stamped, but not roll stamped. They appear to have been done with individual metal stamps. They are quite uneven. I've used my share of metal stamps, and while not always easy to align, I'd have expected better for a gun of this stature...

Re: Bo Whoop found and for sale at Julia's
I have a question. Assuming this is the real deal, can we assume that an heir of Mr. Buckingham's has placed it for sale? If not, we could assume that it is stolen merchadise. No? As for price, alot of people consider Bo-whoop to be the most famous shotgun ever made in America. More famous than the ...

Re: Bo Whoop found and for sale at Julia's
Nash Buckingham claimed the SN for Bo-whoop #1 was 31108. This gun is 31088. From what I've read, there is some doubt about the # Nash provided. They are close enough for a typo, so who knows????

Re: RST Niceshot
Scaupman, I see you are from Louisiana. I once had a friend from Louisiana by the name of Milton Simoneaux, a self proclaimed Coon-ass and the best cook I've ever known. That man could turn Muskrat into filet mignon. I'm not from Louisiana so pardon my being a skeptic on the culinary delights of Hoo...

Re: RST Niceshot
I haven't seen alot of Hooded Mergansers in my days chasing ducks, but last Sunday was different. I was hunting a new to me spot on a lake in N.H. I was set up for puddlers. Blacks and Mallards. Low and behold I became surrounded buy Hoodie's. At least 100 of them! I've never whitnessed anything lik...

RST Niceshot
I managed to pick up a Nice Hoodie for the wall this afternoon. I've wanted a nice one to mount for quite some time. The Niceshot performs great, it really reminds me of lead. Yep, I'm old enough to remember the good old days when all you needed was a box of #4 lead for all your duck hunting. Now th...

Hello, this is a great site! I do most of my upland hunting with either a 20 Ga. Sterlingworth or a 16 Ga. Sterlingworth. Both are choked Mod. and Full. I use Spred-r loads from Poly-wad in both, as Woodcock and Grouse are a close range affair in N.H. and ME. My question is for all of you who chase ...
