Once a new members application and check arrives at Fox central, does the "Members Only" section appear or is there an email notification etc.?
Just curious as mine was sent a week ago and should be there by now or very soon.

16-ga Philly style forearm, 20-ga Savage wide tip.

Both pistol grips without caps.

Thanks ASavageFox, I assumed after disassembly and clean that the wear was an easy weld/file fix to improve lever position.
Stock is a full pistol grip (nice walnut) but I'm assuming a Savage era restock w/o checkering. Aftermarket cap and hrbp.

Last go around on this one....... S# 1296 (after closer inspection) and she's mine. My 1st 12-ga and cleaned up/shoots well. Deadly accurate full/modified chokes & 2-3/4" chambers w/ Krupp barrels. I'll post some pictures when I have a minute. Checks in the mail for membership to this great...

What value addition to the price of gun would members place on factory sets containing two barrel sets? I am looking at and for a Philly or Utica 12-ga, preferably original 26" and 32" s/n to gun. Two forearms, double trigger and extractors. My limited resources have observed good servicea...

Selling for Grandpa who has owned for 40 years. Previous owner had gun stolen and hatchet job to sn's as recovered.
Trigger guard # 203000 appears machine stamped and incorrect imo.

As I'm new to the Fox collecting fever I am not sure how the grades are defined for letter grades.
A,B,C etc are increasing quality wood?
E denotes Ejectors or Engraved?
To date I have a late sterlingworth 16g w/26" barrels.

Why do you question the AE? Engraving appears period correct. Is it the wood quality?
