Ken, I can't download your pics but I live in Parkville and would be happy to meet you to evaluate your gun.

Thanks Stan, that is a wonderful looking finish and should be easy to maintain. Is Japan drier easily obtainable? I've heard of it but have never seen it.

Yes Stan, I agree with Tom. My favorite hunting gun is a Sterlingworth and when it gets wet the stock looks horrible. Please post pics and your method.

Re: A Fox Dilemma
It's your gun and you can do what you want with it but if it were mine I would just leave it as it is and enjoy those chokes. 32" barrels should have tight chokes and Fox chokes, in my opinion, are some of the best. If you could post some pictures it would help to see what you are talking about...

Re: My first Fox.
Nice looking pin gun. Like Jeff, an once of bismuth would do just fine in that gun much to the chagrin of the ducks. Enjoy.

Got to give the guy credit. He was determined to keep the old girl shooting.

Re: Fox Booth at the Southern
Will do. I'll also bring the 32" B grade PAC gun.
Speaking of 30" smallbores, I could always display the not so fancy 20ga SW. It should bring back a good memory of a field in SD during a photo shoot.

Re: Louisville Gun Show - Foxes in the house!
The BE sounds interesting. There's something about the B grades that catch my fancy. Probably my favorite choke combo for clays and hunting (if I hunted with a 12). I've come to appreciate 28" barrels in the last few years. Do you remember the price tag on it?

What in the H were you in NY for Mills? Nice picture and thanks for putting the better looking of the two guns in the foreground.
