I've got two Fox Js (straight grip & round knob) but have never shot an Ithaca. How would you compare a Fox J with an Ithaca 4E in terms of quality, handling, pattern, etc?

Sorry your season has been bad so far but that's a nice mixed bag. Our season opens the day after Thanksgiving. Hope to down a few with Dana's skeleton butt C I bought last year.

To me it is not. I have two Js and on both the rib bases are rectangular, these are round. Also, there should be a pin just forward & below of where the barrel rib meets the fixed rib on the receiver. Also, what is that on the action flats? It is a low number gun though.
