Gobble gobble

Bought this Sterlingworth last year and was able to harvest ducks, geese , woodcock, pheasant and doves with it but as an avid turkey hunter I couldn’t wait to get it into the hardwoods this spring. It did not disappoint!

Great pics I typically hit the flats every year but this year it seemed like the birds never got there in big numbers. Congrats on a great hunt.

Silvers I just went out and checked and actually the green hulls were 9 shot - my bismuth has clear hills and you can see the shot inside.

silvers yes they are RST 16 gauge Bismuth - they werent cheap but they got the job done and very little recoil .

Finally came up with a name for my new Sterly. After two days of woodduck and woodcock limits it seemed to fit !

It was an afternoon hunt in Md. The Sterlingworth is a 16 gauge with 28" barrels and i used RST 8 shot ammo. This is my first SXS and i could not be any happier with the way it shoots. Chokes are modified and full and so far they seem to be open enough - i almost hate having them opened because...
