I saw and bought one of Frank’s guns 2 years ago. Thought I would I would buy a SW, ended up with a 101 SBT instead.
Missed the rock shoot last year but had a great time the year before. Will be there this year.

The rock is a great place to shoot. The Fox guys are great to be around.

Re: 2025 BoWhoop station results
The B target was a fast riser that if you shot quickly was probably a 10’ lead ahead and 2-3’ above trajectory. It quickly reached its apex and as Daryl noted started to slow horizontal speed and increase vertical drop speed. To me the baby shoot wasn't difficult to judge the H/V lead but that extra...

Daryl, you saw more than I did on the C bird. I know what you mean on the B/C and A/C shot, I kept thinking “you better not
miss this C bird” to the point of twice over analyzing.
Anyway, I always appreciate freebies and it can stay.

Re: 2025 BoWhoop station results
For the baby event I led the B bird with what appeared to me to be 3-4’ ahead and 4-5’ below and shooting it about halfway to the ground from its peak and initial decent. I hit it 3/4 times the for score round and then 2/4 in an additional practice round using a different gun. I was using 7/8oz #7.5...

Great Job!!!
Great job to Daryl Craig Jeff Don and Brett. Apologize to anyone missed but those 5 always seemed to be at the Bo Whoop table running the show. Great course set up too!!! The only way events like this happen are due to the personal investments of sweat equity by folks like those aforementioned. This...

Re: Hausmann’s June 2025
The 2 non SxS guys each just bought a CZ SxS to shoot. I’ve stayed at Skyline the last 2 years and have zero complaints. Not a Four Seasons by any stretch of the imagination but it suits the purpose. Nearby is Pomlei’s a pizza and pasta place. Samarios pizza right in the center of Tunk has good Old ...

Hausmann’s June 2025
Will be there. Also bringing 3 others (1 a SxS shooter of vintage SxS guns, and 2 who just like shooting clays). All looking forward to having fun and seeing what vintage SxS is all about. All plan to shoot the Bo Whoop and SBT event.

Re: A Christmas Tradition
Nice story and agree. Appreciate the little things. Before I moved to MA I was in RI and my tradition was Christmas night head to a tidal pond and fly fish for the “Twelve Stripers of Christmas.” Did that for 7 years and accomplished it twice. New Year’s Eve was similar -launch a cast as clock strik...

Re: 2024 adoptees
No new SxS for me in 2024. It was new Briley tubes for my MX3, a few varmit caliber centerfires, a few now banned in MA“assault rifles”, and a few pistols.

Re: Could be done
At least the dogs had fun.
Woodcock season here in MA was zero for me. Even when I was in VT the first 2 weeks of October I saw 0 and the last 2 years I out a few. People I know who hunt them regularly in MA said it was few and far in between this year.
