Thanks for the kind replies. There are 4 brass pins in the repair. I stripped off the remaining finish, it had been revarnished at some time as well as reblued. The new finish is French polish (shellac) and a new replica Silvers pad installed. My intent was to maintain the look of a 110 year old gun...

First Fox Early A Grade 12Ga
I purchased this Fox in November and just finished repairing the stock and getting it cleaned up. It is an early A Grade with 30" barrels and 2 5/8" chambers, choked imp modified and full.
