Re: A Super and a Suzie
There are times, Jeff, when I’m so gentlemanly, I fire multiple warning shots before watching them safely leave the area. It’s all for conservation purposes of course! Glad you’re enjoying yourself! Eagerly awaiting cooler temps and our bird seasons to open up.

Re: Hunting Season(s) Approaching - What gun(s) will go with you for opening day?
Started up a couple weeks ago with a pair of rented Benelli Montefeltro 20ga’s. Many shells and many doves later, safe to say Argentina was an incredible experience!

May many years of health abound as you carry your guns behind those dogs of yours! Beautiful gun you have in the making to go with your others!

For those lucky enough to attend, I have just heard of at least one Fox gun that should be appearing that should really generate some buzz! Enjoy yourselves!

Re: Looks like “Trouble”
I am in GA, Jeff. Most of our hunts are in beaver swamps and creek sloughs. Sometimes with enough rain it can back water into the bottoms and we can get somewhat of a timber hunt. Difference is, we don't often get the circling big ducks that decide to commit and drop in very often. No, we get the wo...

Re: Looks like “Trouble”
Been a little busy, but wanted to share an update from last week. Duck season has been real slow this year for us, but some memories have still been made. Always a special time when your dog achieves a “first”. Here’s Trouble from his first actual duck hunt where he made a nice retrieve on a bird he...

Re: A Super morning!
Bama bias is a very real phenomenon and I hope you don’t have to experience it in the playoffs. Having said that, my Dawgs didn’t do enough yesterday to get it done but I will take solace in our back to back titles that help soften the blow. We’ll be right back in the thick of it next season. The re...

A Super morning!
Got out this morning with my HE. It was quite a memorable morning as not only did I get my first double with my Super, but I also got my 3 Woody limit with 3 shells! A fun morning and soon to be some bacon wrapped jalapeño duck poppers on the grill this evening before watching the Dawgs beat up the ...

Re: A few big ducks are showing up
Jealous of these duck hunts as I’m eagerly waiting for our season to open! Great photos and good shooting! It is nice to see such a nice gun being used as well as too often they are only locked away.

Jeff, no need to apologize. You just have to learn to be more creative….. that thing has two barrels so 8+8=16. Congrats on your new 16ga!

A few doves with the Sterly
Got out for a little dove shoot on this beautiful morning. Not a ton of birds but a fun shoot nonetheless! Scout was there doing his usually work and Trouble got some more action and made a couple retrieves. He is coming along nicely! Shot a 16ga Sterlingworth this morning. IMG_2650.jpeg IMG_2639.jp...

Congratulations to the both of you for a well struck deal! Nothing quite like finally reaching those elusive goals no matter what they may be. Happy hunting this season and be sure to post up some wonderful pictures with ducks in along side!

Re: Dreaming of Hunting with my new Fox
Best wishes for many successful and memorable hunts with your Fox! At least if the action is slow, you can gaze down at that beautiful gun you patiently waited so long for. I, too, am dreaming of the fall/winter seasons and the hunts that hopefully come with them. I don't want to wish away time but ...

Re: Dove field delight - DHE Parker
Wonderful gun! Stan, I am always impressed with your bag of doves. Some of the toughest wing shooting in my experience can be doves. You certainly have a knack for knocking them down!
