boring/threading 1911 a grade - advice?

I bought an A grade 1911 - with factory Krupp fluid steel barrels - 30' mod/mod. I was thinking about getting them threaded for choke tubes - anyone have experience with this? Can it be done? Can one barrel be threaded and not the other? Thanks!!

Thank you for referrals - I exchanged emails with Craig and he was highly responsive and gave me a reasonable estimate - I have decided to go with someone in Philly - mainly because of the drive

hairline crack on stock

This is an A grade about 1912 - noticed hairline crack - any idea how much this repair would cost? I am in Philly area - any referrals on a smith?
