Thanks for the feedback bbman3! I was considering hand checkering, but how do I reproduce the pressed shape versus the cut style of typical hand checkering? Are their other tools for this?

I have inherited my father's Fox Model Bc and the buttstock needs to be replaced due to significan cracks around the action end.
