This is Havoc with his brother Pilot. Havoc has his AKC Junior hunter, and we will work on his senior hunter title this Spring.

Re: Ansley H Fox safety operation

Fire is forward, Safe back. You should see the word “SAFE” when pulled back. Neither barrel should fire in SAFE position. Sounds like you have some problems with your safe and you should have a qualified gunsmith check it. Most Fox guns came from the factory with an automatic safe unless ordered oth...

There are records available from Griffen and Howe on this gun. They may head some light on the subject.

Re: Build card anomaly

Is the gun set up like a Skeet gun by chance? Beavertail, single trigger, straight grip, recoil pad or checkered butt?

Re: Sterlingworth wiggle revisited

If I am looking at a gun and it is unloaded, I hold the lever back when closing it. If It is loaded and I am shooting it I always allow the bolt to snap shut as designed.
I have never had a problem doing it that way.

Re: Factory Red Head Pad ? ? ?

I ran across a gun the other day that had that same style pad with Jostam markings.

I assume Jostam made that pad for Red Head.
