Ordered the Deeley latch spring from ahfoxparts.com. Jason was very helpful and I got the part fast. The latch is good as new now and very tight.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I have the stock and forearm getting professionally stripped and refinished since there was a bad "oil" job on it when I got it. I will get a Silver's pad fitted and shoot for a while until I decide to get a restock.

LOP is about 13 in to the end of the wood and 14 1/8 to the end of the pad. My card says 14 1/8 LOP from the factory.

I was going to replace the old Pachmayer butt pad but noticed the size is way different from anything on the Connecticut shotgun store. I measure the stock end at 4 7/8" L x 1 3/4" and the screw holes 3" center to center. Was my stock cut down at some point? What are my options for a ...

Barrels ring fine and the forearm loop in fine. I'l order the spring and see if that does the trick. The back screw was a little loose so I tightened it just a tiny bit.

I've tried to search this site thoroughly but haven't found a fix for my problem. I have a Fox A grade from 1920 that is nice and tight and on face.
