Re: Unusual Waterfowl Bands
If you have an unreadable band you can send it in, pretty sure they X-ray them to get the numbers back????

Re: Unusual Waterfowl Bands
Yep, check in the mail. For a while we had a lot of "rewards" flying around like 6 or7 years ago. They did a big study on brant about the same time, we almost had a band a trip for a while. This year a friend shot one with no visible numbers, all worn off.

Re: Last 3 days & ITX 10
Your all welcome! I love your duck'n pictures too. Jim, same mid Bay Area of Chesapeake. Wasted 2 days on those cans, never came together, but we did have a fair bycatch. Last day went way back in for the teal & blacks. Tides low and pushed our guts out to get in, then got ran out with fast fall...

Last 3 days & ITX 10
Duck'n our last 3 days of season,Slooooow. Shot ITX 10 1oz #6's for past 5 days out, killed full range of waterfowl sizes from greenwing/buffleheads to Canada geese. The #6's lose steam at 40 yards, moving on to #4's. The ITX's seem to open up pattern quicker than steel but all pellets I think retai...

Re: Duck'n
I watched 1000's toll Saturday, it looks like Thursday has a good wind for us to hunt; fingers crossed. I've been testing ITX 10 1oz #6's hand loads and I'm on the fence with them. The biggest problem I have had is not being able to "see" my pattern as the two trips so far any low shots we...

Re: Duck'n
Thanks all for reading,I've enjoyed your stories and pics too. Planning on hunting last 3 days of the season next week,if no rain I'll have my Fox and post hopefully with some "cans". It is neat to see the different conditions people hunt across this country.

Re: Tundra duck bust'n
Jim, the 35 sneak box in the 2nd pic the green anchor/bow line runs right behind a half round block of wood?? Attached to the deck. I also like the way you rigged your anchor line " loose" through an eye with a tag, just pull and go. I'll lay out hunt with my boats and anchoring is challen...

Re: Tundra duck bust'n
Jim I know there's as spray curtain that goes on the bow but what is the half round wood block w/hole a front of cockpit used for?
