Condition is most important in dollars. Get some good pictures and description, note any flaws and post it here. Ask fo...

Re: Early 20 bore CE Straight Grip - Restoration Update
You did good to bring her back to her former glory! If you are like me....you did this to have a wonderful gun to hunt with and enjoy shooting. I have a 1921 CE-16 28" that had the rear wood modified at some point, the stock was not repairable. I had one of the best stockers build me both front...

Couple more pics, shows new for-end wood. The stocker told me that for-ends are very time consuming, lots of fitting in all directions at one time.

I love the setter dog and bird scenes. We see so few small gauge c-s come up for sale and they don't give the...

Re: What Fox guns did you add to your collection in 2019?
IMG_1114.JPG Thank You Researcher for your post , how to post pictures. 2019 was a very good year for me...I did some real horse trading with Steve Barnet. He had a wonderful Philly Fox CE-16 that had wood issues, some time in its life the stock was modified at the wrist and comb, and was unrepaira...

Re: Tool needed to install hammers on SW-16

Just too dang cold and that's not fun! Anyway I did get the 220 wired up for the new Tig welder so its ready to go. We ar...

Re: Tool needed to install hammers on SW-16
The table top tool set up for removing/install hammers is underway and will soon be finished. Welding research has yielded the best approach is to use Tig air cooled hard steel. After welding the sear notch/sear levers as needed, parts will need to be pre-fit on a surface grinder or mill. That equip...
