Saturday was opening day of geese here in our zone. Hunted a corn field just to the north of our marsh with son Doug and three others from our club. I had a good early season here in the Finger Lakes even though I was never on the X. We were covered up in teal. The woodies stage on our marsh in the hundreds but they only stayed a few days before moving south. Very few big ducks. We open again on December 7th which is the latest second split ever...
