Re: Well here is another... I'm stumped
Jonathan, when we were on the phone a while back, I didn't ask you if the forend was serial numbered. The engraving inside and on the latch of the forend are quite elegant compared to the rest of the gun. Not unheard of on a Becker gun, but "Is it numbered to the gun?" No the forend is no...

Well here is another... I'm stumped
Found one more that was overlooked. Upon first glance I thought oh another Super Fox. I also was thinking that maybe I was seeing some Becker influences. Once I got home and took a closer look I was stumped. I am looking for any insight to how this gun came to be. Is it possible to do a card look up...

Diagram discribing parts/areas of a SxS
Hi all! Does anyone have a diagram describing the parts and areas of a SxS? I am trying to accurately describe all these guns but I am not sure I am using the proper terminology. Thanks all.

Re: Reuter Family Collestion - Buckingham - Bartholomew
Johnathan Mike shot the photos of your Fox guns. Trust me that his photos will be worth the wait! Mark Morning Mark, Mike seemed to really know what he was doing. But you sure had a pretty nice camera yourself. Did you get any good shots with your little guy out on the coarse? I would love to see s...

Re: De Shootin'est Gent'man
Does anyone know what times and which days events are being held. I would like to come but could probably only make it for a day. Are they shooting sporting clays everyday?

De Shootin'est Gent'man
Hi all! I am still here and trying to compile all this wonderful stuff. Here is a little more provenance to add to the collection. I am delighted to find this inscription to my Great Grandfather. Not only was it relayed through Henry Bartholomew but it was written 24 years after the Ole Miss' inscri...

Why do I see a lot of old side by sides with a nut and bolt through the stock aft of the action? What did that repair accomplish?

Re: Another Super Fox!
I am not trying to hi-jack this thread, but it is not uncommon to see a 2 centered under the serial number on the receiver watertable of a factory ordered two barrel set. Here's a photo of the watertable of a Fox XE that was ordered as a two barrel set: http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/ww266/scau...

Re: Another Super Fox!
Jonathan.... Craig isn't the only one being killed by all these wonderful Foxes. Thank you again for sharing with us. As Dave mentioned, that numeral "2" under the serial number on the frame bar is very unusual. At least I've never seen it before. Again, I see a Becker style fancy back fr...
