Mike, Thanks that's exactly what I'll do! The truth be told, I just didn't like the idea of the Ball Point Pen spring even though some guys say that has worked for them for many years. Thanks again, for the tip on 1/2" legnth as well; that's a big help as I had no idea.

Thanks for the reply Bobby! I am hoping to find a quality replacement spring. I saw some guys have said that worked but I really want the gun to be 99% with a replacement spring that's correct or at least high quality. Thanks again....

Well I knew something was missing when the Gun wouldn't close; without manually moving the top lever to the right. Everthing else works perfect but the gun must be closed manually.
