Re: Opinions on CSMS Fox guns

I like my CSMC 16GA DE Special with 30" Barrels, Exhibition Turkish Walnut, Skeleton Butt.....all with 15 1/4 LOP weighing in at 6lbs 4oz.

Ansley would have loved this one :D

Gun Insurance

Any ideas out there on gun insurance? I do not have safe queens, my fine guns are hunted. I need a policy that covers me from theft while eating lunch in a cafe in North Dakota or while rotating guns in Arizona.

Re: 2 Sets of barrels on a C Grade

So far this is my favorite. Your grandfather sure had fine tastes in shotguns and from the way it sounds knowledgeable mentors. I use to duck hunt not far from there on the Arkansas side on the Cache river. Any quail left on your grandfathers old stomping grounds? Thanks for sharing the history of y...

20 Gauge Sterlingworth Chamber?

Have a 20 GA Sterlingworth Serial #2626XX in great shape. Will this gun have short chambers? Can I shoot 2 3/4" shells ?

Thank you

Show Me Gunstocks has the best semi inlet Fox stocks i have used. Bobby Someone is selling Fox Sterlingworth pre inletted and 90% shaped stocks on ebay pretty reasonably. Completing the in-letting is no easy chore but a talented armature with the right tools and skills could do a credible job prett...

Re: 20ga NE SW for Daughter Need Stock / Info Ideas

It is highly unlikely that a take-off stock would be a fit, and I know several stockmakers who won't take on such a project as the time involved to achieve a good fit is more than is cost effective. Likewise a take-off will most likely have as much drop. Far better (but not cheap) to have a new stoc...

20ga NE SW for Daughter Need Stock / Info Ideas

My 14 yr old daughter has wanted to start hunting with her one year old GWP and wanted to learn to shoot a two trigger SXS. I found a really nice Philly SW 20ga NE 28" that weighs 5 lbs 13 oz. The bad part is the butt stock has been butchered beyond use with a White Line Pachmayr pad and 3/8 &q...
