***update*** I went trap shooting the other week and had no issues at all. I was using the same remington target loads. Interesting, I was using remington 2 3/4" shells. I'll look into low pressure ones for next time and try one barrel at a time. Is there another possible causes other then the pins?

Interesting, I was using remington 2 3/4" shells and they dropped right in without any resistance. I'll look into low pressure ones for next time. Is there another possible causes other then the pins?

The barrels measure in at 30 inches. Feel free to use the pictures and thanks for the info.

hard to open after a few rounds?
Last weekend was my first time shooting my Sterlingworth and probably the first time its been shot in the last 40 years. I gave it a nice wipe down with my hoppes 9 silicone cloth and will be cleaning out the barrels later this week. I have two questions for the fox enthusiasts here and hopefully so...

Help ID my 12ga Philly Sterlingworth
This Sterlingworth was my great grandfathers and last weekend was my first time shooting it. I had so much fun and now I must know more about it! Im going to send away for factory info but untill then can you guys help me out with some info? s/n 50394 says Sterlingworth co on the side on the barrels...
