Re: Baltimore Arms & Hollenbeck guns-today
Thanks-what a great an informative reply-- What a tragedy for a grandfather, Dr. Addison Fox, to have to sign the death certificate for his infant grandson. The uninformed clowns in the Gun Library tagged the Hollenbeck sidelock with Krupp barrels as a "Uncle Dan LeFever CE grade"- they ar...

Re: AE Grade 12 SN 30600 Photos now ready
OK- I followed your instructions- I got as far as the "paste it into your posting" step- but I still don't see a submit tag where I am supposed to click to send it to the AH Fox website-- But I will give you my data, and perhaps you can log in a retrieve it and get in aboard for me- if so,...

Re: AE Grade 12 SN 30600 Photos now ready
G-TOWN, Just my two pennies worth, but if that .410 is in decent condition, I'd be at the farmer's back door by 7am tomorrow with a stack of blueberry flap-jacks, hot coffee, a paint brush and a rake and shovel to do any chores that might need doing. In my left pocket would be a blank check.....LOL...

Re: AE Grade 12 SN 30600 Photos now ready
Thanks VA Turkey- I followed your directions to the letter- but when I hit the URL's list- there was NO :Forums (IMG) Tag listed- so, what do I do next. Also, what does the "paste it into your posting" mean?? Thanks!!

AE Grade 12 SN 30600 Photos now ready
Today, Sat 19/July I re-visited my farmer friend with the Fox (love dat alliteration, right?) and took about 12 good clear photos. I also took photos of the .410 Parker, but out of respect for the "rules and regs" extant, will not post them here. Both guns have DT and selective AE and spli...

Re: A Fox A grade "Morphed" into an AE
Thanks. I am going to see the owner today, and will attempt to take photos of both the Fox 12 AE and the .410 double rumored to be a Parker. My "gut" tells me the later is most likely a PArker-HAle, made in Spain by Urgartechea, but we shall see. May I ask a favor? If I have a problem post...

Re: A Fox A grade "Morphed" into an AE
I am "on the fence" about joining this Gruppen mit dem Fox/Fuchs Schrottflinten-- I won't post the reasons why I am still debating, but will list them for you in a private e-mail, if you so desire. Let us just say- I am a firm disciple of the wisdom espoused by the late Samuel Langhorn Cle...

Re: A Fox A grade "Morphed" into an AE
I'll "tread with extreme caution" with that, as I am NOT an AHFCA member, and ONLY members are allowed to post guns for sale, or perhaps links to guns for sale-- and as I don't have a Philadelphia lawyer at my beck and call, I am going to play it safe and assume that membership in the AHFC...

Re: A Fox A grade "Morphed" into an AE
Yes, I understand that. However getting photos prior to possibly buying this AE Fox may not be possible. Here is why: (1) I don't have a computerized camera. (2) The private party owner is debating whether or not to sell it- in a private sale to me., it will depend on his mood and the amount of cash...

A Fox A grade "Morphed" into an AE
Today I looked at a 12 gauge AE Fox sn is 30600. It may be offered to me by a private party, and as the only Fox I own at present is a Utica mfg. 20 gauge Sterlingworth, I am interested in buying this 12- but there are some issues-- According to the seller, this gun was sent back to Savage pre-WW11 ...
