Re: TAKE NOTE----FOX GUNROOM BANNERS!!!!

I'd love to have one if some one could roll it in a tube and mail it to me in CA. Let me know if that's possible.
Thanks,
Gordon

Sterlingworth Barrel Weight

I recently bought a 16 ga with 28" barrels. They have never been touched. The barrels weigh exactly 3 lbs, which would make them a 4 weight. Is this typical? Did Sterlingworth barrels come in different weights like the graded guns?
Thanks
Gordon

I think you are right. I was under the impression that they started the 16 ga at 351,001, not 350,001. I have since read it was 350,001. Not as early as I thought, but a nice gun.

According to the serial number lists I have seen, the 16 ga was introduced in 1913 with a beginning serial number of 153,000.

Earliest 16 ga Sterlingworth

Today I purchased 16 ga Sterlingworth 153083 at a gun show. What is the earliest 16 ga Sterlingworth serial number that is known.
