Just thought of another good piece of fox artwork. It's by Ned Smith and was on the cover of PA Game News magazine. I'm up at the camp right now but I'll look it up when I get home if you haven't settled on something else by then. Fred

If you can find it, there is an advertisement designed by Lynn Bogue Hunt for Ithaca Gun Co. that is the image of a red fox in hot pursuit of a pheasant. Researcher may know where to find it. To each his own: to my eye the Ithaca fox looks much more realistic than any portrayal on the Fox catalogs. ...

Sept/Oct 2011. No 16's in the group of 10 guns. The Fox was a CSMC XE Special, 20 gauge,2 3/4" chambers, 30" barrels, 6lbs,7oz. His wife kept this gun for the family

When his guns went up for auction, Bryan Bilinski ran a short article about them in Shooting Sportsman magazine. I'll look for it when I get a chance.

For ducks a Remington Versa Max, upland birds is a RBL 16, trap is a Fox J, sporting clays with a Sterlingworth that had the chokes opened up, turkeys is a model 12 heavy duck gun.

Thanks for bringing this subject up Craig. The trip to eastern PA shoots are a 4 hour plus drive for me and while I enjoy the Bo Whoop targets, it's only 10 shots. I would consider myself a middle of the pack shooter on my good days so why would I pay a dollar a target to shoot when I know I'm just ...

I'd try putting the original part back in and trying a different spring before going any farther. I've never had the trip pin fall out though, so I'd get a light and a magnifier and have a look for damage. If there is a cut in the pin and it doesn't appear damaged, I'd suspect that cut to be there f...
